Public Health Professionals

Registered nurses, public health inspectors, nutritionists, disease investigators, social workers, health educators, and other state and local health department staff are uniting with AFSCME to win professional respect and standards on the job that improve health outcomes. 

At a time when the important work of public health professionals is being undermined by funding cuts and by irresponsible, unscientific actions by extremist elected officials, AFSCME members are uniting to defend their jobs and the health of the communities they serve.
